Rolling Stone Australia is taking over SXSW Sydney 2023 with an exciting four-day activation, officially titled Rolling Stone Courtyard.
The multi-day event will be hosted outside the Powerhouse Museum and promises a massive lineup of live music performances, thought-provoking panels, insightful talks and immersive activations from Wednesday October 18 through to Saturday October 21.
Across the four days, the outdoor space set in Sydney’s cool inner west suburb Ultimo, will play host to a wide range of artists, including Alter Boy, Dean Brady, Phoebe Go and Gold Fang to name a few.
With an impressive lineup of bands and even a few secret headliners yet to be revealed, Rolling Stone Courtyard is all set to be a creative spectacle like no other. The event is proudly sponsored by Twilio Segment – the #1 Customer Data Platform designed to help the music and entertainment industry revolutionise fan engagement, create tailored audience personalisation and drive revenue.
The partnership proves there’s more to be celebrated about music than the sweet sounds of some of Australia’s best artists. There’s an exciting fusion of technology in almost every facet of the modern music landscape.
As the experts in optimising first-party data to drive deeper fan connections and loyalty, Twilio Segment is set to take centre stage at the upcoming Rolling Stone Courtyard at SXSW Sydney 2023. With an exclusive panel titled, ‘What can artists learn from tech and what can tech learn from artists?’, the team at Twilio Segment will dive into what this means for the current and future entertainment business.
The Brag Media and Rolling Stone CEO, Luke Girgis, is set to moderate the panel. With Liz Adeniji, Regional Vice President at Twilio Segment, Jaddan Comerford, CEO & Founder at UNIFIED Music Group, and Wayne Baskin, Co-Founder and CTO of Superhero, discussing the untapped powers of data personalisation and its potential to create real growth for music brands.
One case study they’ll unpack live is how Twilio Segment helped iconic guitar maker Fender® increase their customer engagement and lifetime value through the launch of its Fender Play® music lessons app.
If that’s not enough, audiences will also get valuable insights from the real use cases of digital music company Believe, live music website Bandsintown and Fox Sports.
Fans of music, tech and business are invited to come along and join the activities and listen to the live performances. To fully grasp the possibilities that Twilio Segment offers, don’t miss their panel discussions at the Rolling Stone Courtyard on Friday 20 October at 2.30pm at the Powerhouse Museum.
