Pennsylvania’s The Districts are making their way Down Under for Splendour In The Grass this year, and now they’ve locked in some sideshow action for Aussie fans.
The Districts’ latest album, A Flourish And A Spoil, is an involved journey from introspective acoustic balladry to widescreen guitar-based rock, and refreshing at every turn. It’s ready-made for some festival action, as evidenced by the band’s touring schedule, which has already ticked off SXSW, Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds and plenty more.
They’ll play a headline sideshow at Newtown Social Club on Tuesday July 28. Tickets go on sale 10am Wednesday April 29.
