MusicNSW is offering Sydney musos a chance to learn from the pros with two intimate masterclasses run by some of Australia’s finest.

Singer-songwriter Josh Pyke will join Isabella Manfredi from The Preatures to share what is sure to be some invaluable insight into the world of songwriting, while Anna Laverty and Wayne Connolly will share their knowledge and experience as producers in a second masterclass on the production side of the music industry.

Pyke is a multiple ARIA Award-winner with a career spanning nearly ten years, while Isabella ‘Izzy’ Manfredi is the lead singer of Sydney band The Preatures, who boast a number four debut album and an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, as well as having played Coachella, Glastonbury and Bonnaroo.

Between them, producers Laverty and Connolly have worked withSilverchair, Grinspoon, Powderfinger, The Grates,Florence and The Machine, Bloc Party, and most recentlyCourtney Barnett.

The classes will be held on Monday Novemeber 14 and Monday November 28. Tickets are available now, and spots are limited.
