My Mum, Your Dad star Darren Lucas has been pretty active in dating circles, and sugar daddy ones as well, it seems.

That moment when you unwittingly expose yourself as a sugar daddy, amirite? Well, My Mum, Your Dad’s Darren Lucas may have done just that. During the series premiere on Monday, Lucas dove into his recent efforts to find the perfect partner for him through online dating.

“I’ve been on all of them,” he told the other dads on the show. “Hinge, Bumble, TinderSeeking. All different websites.” Not Grindr, however, as he specified.

We all know of the first three, but it’s Seeking that really caught our attention. Until they rebranded to move away from the culture of ‘arrangements,’ the app was actually called Seeking Arrangements – a well-known place in the community for men to find sugar babies.

Presently, Seeking posits itself as the “the luxury dating site for successful and attractive singles,” for anyone who is interested in meeting “the elite.”

Considering fan reaction to Lucas’ introduction on the show, we’d say this was probably the tamer revelation around him, since most people raised eyebrows at his ‘red-flag’ tendencies.

Lucas – who constantly addressed the women on the show as girls and judged Marette Vinci’s cosmetic surgeries despite having gone under the knife himself – claimed age was not important in a relationship and proudly claimed to have lied about his age on dating apps. And then there was his catchphrase which, honestly, he should have retired in the eighties: “I like the over-the-kitchen bench feel!”
