The National Folk Festival has just beefed up its beetroot burger with the announcement of a number of American acts to the bill.
Critically-acclaimed Nashville alt-country superstar Kim Richey is now coming down, along with the harmonica/guitar duality experience of duo Joe Filisko and Eric Noden. Kipori Baby Wolf Woods New Orleans Band, whose name was chosen by committee, are heading south too, as are the jivin’ and finger pickin’ delicious delights of Jesse Milnes & Emily Miller. Appalachia’s finest bluegrass whitlers, Whitetop Mountaineers, are gonna rock up too.
