A new exhibition of work from world-famous painter Virginia Cuppaidge is set to hit Sydney very soon. Though she was New York-based for almost five decades, Cuppaidge was fascinated with the distinct nature of Australian light and it informed a great deal of her work.
The exhibition will largely feature Cuppaidge’s striking paper-based work, vibrant pieces that transform the real into the mythic.
Another Kind Of Light kicks off at the Stella Downer Fine Art Gallery on Tuesday March 1 and will run through till Friday March 25. More information is available here.
