Richard Brinsley Sheridan’s satirical morality playThe School For Scandal will be playing at New Theatre in May.

The 18th century classic is well and truly brought into the 21st century in this contemporary piece. It seems society is as obsessed with the lives of the rich and famous as it was when the play was written. A society consumed by gossip, ambition and greed are the backdrop of this play, as wealthy adults act like children and friends and family betray one another.

Directed by David Burrowes and featuring a talented cast includingTel Benjamin, Richard Cotter, Sasha Dyer, Peter Flett, Emma Harvie, Rhys Keir, Chantel Leseberg, Moreblessing Maturure, Cecilia Morrow, Marty O’Neill, Billie Scott, Eleanor Stankiewicz, Samantha Ward, Jacob Warner and Madeleine Withington,The School For Scandal proves to be a timeless analysis of human nature.

The School For Scandal will play at New Theatre from Tuesday April 28 – Saturday May 30.
