Nicole Kidman’s niece Lucia Hawley has claimed that she’s “no nepo-baby” after landing a highly coveted job as a TV presenter for Live From E!.

Hawley, who is the daughter of actor Antonio Kidman, will be hosting star-studded interviews on the new 7Bravo channel, which launched this month.

While Hawley has connections in high places, AKA Hollywood, the 24-year-old said that she scored the prestigious job through hard work.

“I’ve been working towards this,” Hawley told The Sunday Telegraph.

“Having a mum who had been in the industry, through osmosis you gain that perspective and understanding and I think that’s been one of the biggest things that has helped in preparing me for this role, just having watched her and how she has carried herself through everything.

“I am obsessed with fashion, and this is honestly like a dream come true. I always wanted to present and red carpets are naturally what I gravitate towards, so it came about pretty serendipitously.

“I’m Bravo obsessed and obsessed with E! Entertainment, so it’s almost like two worlds colliding and it’s such a pinch-me moment.”

“And I can appeal to the consumer of that, generally, because I’m such a fan of shows like The Real Housewives — I’ve watched every single season — so when I got the job I was like, guys, you don’t even have to pay me to do this,” she said

While Hawley credits her passion for reality TV and pop culture to get the hosting job, she acknowledges that having a mother and aunt in the acting industry can be helpful.

“I am so lucky to have them both (mum and aunt) as role models — not only are they amazing at their jobs, but they also have a really strong sense of self and are very intellectual as well.”
