Nigel Ng has announced he will be bringing his The Haiyaa World Tour to Australian theatres in June 2022.

Nigel Ng, a Malaysian comic based in London, went viral overnight in July 2020. In the video that catalysed his comedy career, Ng assumed the character of “Uncle Roger,” a middle-age Asian man who watches horrified at a BBC Food egg fried rice recipe.

“Uncle Roger” was born in lockdown. Ng had quit his job as a data scientist to pursue comedy full time when the pandemic hit and he lost all his gigs.

As a stand up, Nigel has been nominated for the Best Newcomer Award for his sold-out show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2019, and sold out several runs throughout the UK and Europe. His TV credits include Comedy Central’s Stand Up Central and Roast Battle, BBC Two’s Mock The Week and ITV’s Jonathan Ross Comedy Club.

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 10am, Friday November 26. My Live Nation members can secure tickets during the pre-sale which commences at 10am on Thursday November 25, and concludes at 9am on Friday November 26. Find all the relevant information below.
