Nikki Hill, the whisky-voiced rock’n’roll and blues singer from North Carolina, is making the long trip to Australia for Bluesfest and a Sydney sideshow next year.
Hill’s career bio reads like something out of a Hollywood film. Just a few years ago, she was a bartender with a love for classic punk and rock music. The encouragement of her husband (now guitarist) Matt saw Hill take the stage for the very first time to live out her rock’n’roll dreams.
Fast-forward to 2017, and she’ll bring songs from her 2015 recordHeavy Hearts, Hard Fistsall the way to the east coast of Australia.

Hill will play Newtown Social Club on Monday April 17, presented by the BRAG. Tickets go on sale 10am Wednesday October 26.
