NUTTEA has literally blown my tea-loving, vegan self straight out of the water with their line of nutty mylk teas, and I’m about to tell you why.

Craving something sweet, cold, and delicious as the weather is starting up? Dreading the moments where your friends want to pop into the bubble tea shop around the corner, and you know that they’re not going to have hardly any vegan options on offer?

Well, fear no more, Melburnians, because NUTTEA is about to change everything you know about tea, because they’ve got nut mylk worked out to a fine art.

Located in the ELLA precinct in Melbourne Central Station, NUTTEA is quite new to the Melbourne scene (and the first shop of it’s kind in Australia!), and is whipping up a massive array of completely vegan drinks.

From tea bases to fruity drinks, and even smoothies and chocolate-based drinks on the menu, there’s enough to entice even the non-vegos. There’s a nut mylk tea with tapioca pearls, an earl grey tea with chocolate nut cream, a banana oatmeal smoothie, and so many scrumptious delights on offer.

If that wasn’t enough, the pièce de résistance is the thick, creamy nut-based cream that’s plopped onto a selection of their drinks. It’s so thick, they even provide you with a little shovel so you can pretty much spoon it into your mouth as quick as possible.

For us vegans who have been searching for the ultimate plant-based drink, and are a bit over coconut cream, NUTTEA is the spot to try. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. And, if you’re anything like me, you’ll likely ask if it’s possible to order a literal bucket of the nutty cream, because it’s so darn delicious.
