‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ theory that connects Reva’s backstory and ties her with Obi-Wan in a way you wouldn’t expect.

Obi-Wan Kenobi E1 and E2 spoilers ahead!

At the beginning of Episode 1 of the Disney+ Series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, we get to see the Jedi Temple massacre from the perspective of a group of younglings being led by their Jedi master. As their master dies, she defeats the final clone trooper that is aware of them. Leaving the younglings to fend for themselves as they decide to run away. This comes after a lengthy montage of the prequel trilogy depicting Anakin’s relationship with Obi-Wan and his eventual fall to the dark side.

There is currently a theory, originally posted on Twitter that Reva, or the Third Sister, was one of those Padawans from the beginning. The theory states that Reva grew her hatred towards Obi-Wan because she heard him warn the other Jedi not to return to the temple during Order 66. She then felt left behind, because she was.

This would explain her desire to deliver Obi-Wan Kenobi to Darth Vader, but wouldn’t explain her loyalty to Darth Vader, who she knows is Anakin, the person who was actively trying to slaughter her during Order 66. Although, she may serve him due to the fear of the Empire/Vader’s overwhelming power.

I think Reva is the 1st padwan we see in the Order 66 scene. maybe Obi-Wan’s message prevented their being saved & thats why she hates him. And thats how she knows Vader is Anakin. She was at the temple when he showed up.”

“He referes to his message as a warning that about the empire and that the jedi and republic have fallen. Maybe that warning convinces other jedi not to go back to the temple.”

“Considering that Obi Wan straight up says “Don’t return to the temple” I think it’s safe to say that’s the case”
