Hitting the open road in a camper van is on most traveller’s bucket list. The only problem? It isn’t exactly cheap.

The solution could be here thanks to Deel. As per CNBC, the payroll provider is looking for a ‘social media nomad’ to go on an unforgettable campervan trip around Australia and New Zealand.

Who said work had to be boring? The successful person will be provided with a camper van and a travel budget to gander around the two countries for six whole months.

With a given budget of NZ$5,000 per month, the usual stress of such a trip should diminish; a weekly stipend to cover food and fuel isn’t to be sniffed at either. Oh, and they’ll the successful person will also have their flight and visa costs covered to get to Australasia.

To be in with a chance, potential applicants must have three years’ experience as either a social media manager, brand ambassador, or influencer. A valid driving licence, passport, and strong English speaking and writing skills are also required.

According to Deel, the ideal person will also have creative content experience and boast a “special connection” to either Australia or New Zealand (or both if they’re showing off), so if you can trace your genealogy back to either country, you’ll have a leg up.

If you’re successful, your list of duties don’t sound that difficult at all. You’ll have to regularly create social media content documenting your campervan trip, which you would have inevitable done on such a journey anyway.
