Last year, Fortnite player Luke Munday live-streamed and alleged domestic abuse incident against his partner. Now, following a separate dispute over the weekend, domestic abuse charges have been laid against his partner

Grace Campbell was arrested Narellan Police Station and charged with two counts of common assault, domestic violence assault occasioning actual bodily harm and contravening a domestic apprehended violence order. As per a report from SMH, it’s believed Campbell threw a kettle at Munday this Sunday evening past. Police claimed, “The woman allegedly assaulted the man, and he sustained minor injuries,”

Campbell was granted bail the following day with strict conditions which include not contacting of approaching Munday.

Meanwhile, Munday has pleaded not guilty to his assault charges against Campbell that stem from the live-streamed assault. He will have his day in court later this month. At a hearing earlier in the year, Munday described his attack on Campbell, who was pregnant with the couple’s third child, as a “one-off thing.”

While broadcasting his gameplay to followers on Twitch, Munday lashed out at his partner who could be heard off camera urging him to stop playing. Munday follows his partner off-camera, with slapping sounds, screaming and children crying can be heard soon after. The couple were living with their two children at the time aged 3 and 20 months.

During the alleged attack, Campbell can be heard shouting “You fucking woman basher.”

Followers watching the livestream became concerned and contacted police. Munday was charged, however a letter from Campbell to the judge supporting her partners’ actions allowed for varied bail conditions so the couple could remain living in the same house.

It’s unclear yet whether Munday will be extending the same support to his partner.
