An Australian OnlyFans model has gone public with a story about a ‘sexually transmitted’ allergic reaction she experienced in a bid to raise awareness around the link between peanut allergies and sex.

OnlyFans model Lucy Banks told the Daily Mail that she’s allergic to peanuts, and experienced a reaction when her and her partner began to get intimate, shortly after he’d consumed the nut.

“I had never heard of food allergens transmitting and negatively affecting partners through ejaculation before,” Banks told the Daily Mail.

She added:  “He had eaten peanuts earlier that day, and it transferred to me. I didn’t realise at the time that this was possible.”

While Banks didn’t detail exactly how she received the ‘sexually transmitted’ allergic reaction, she did tell the publication that ejaculation was involved.

“I had never heard of food allergens transmitting and negatively affecting partners through ejaculation before,” she said.

“Those with minor or moderate allergies most likely won’t notice anything, but if you have a severe anaphylactic reactions to certain foods, then I would take special precautions with your partner to make sure they haven’t eaten anything that could trigger a negative, and possibly serious, response,” she added.

Banks – who reportedly makes $60,000 monthly on the platform – went on to explain that the pharmacy staff “laughed” at her when she went to a chemist to buy antihistamines to negate the reaction.

“She called over a few colleagues and tried to ask for their opinions and help, but she couldn’t stop laughing,” she said.

While ‘sexually transmitted’ allergic reactions may sound bizarre to many, a study has actually proven that nut related allergies can be triggered during sex.

The study, published by the department of immunology at St. Helier Hospital in Surrey, England, profiled a woman who experienced a severe reaction after getting intimate with her partner who had eaten a handful of Brazil nuts.
