Former competitive Australian jockey and current OnlyFans star Libby Hopwood has spoken about how she transitioned from the sport to the content-sharing platform, and the reaction her new career choice has received.

Libby was one of Australia’s top jockeys, but retired from the sport after a fall in 2014, and went on to become a presenter with Sky Racing.

The 35-year-old athlete joined OnlyFans back in May and has since shared 124 photos and 84 videos. She charges $15.00 for a monthly subscription and has 2800 followers.

Speaking of switching from the sports industry to content sharing, Libby told DailyStar that OnlyFans has actually made her feel less self-conscious about her weight.

“It’s interesting. When you work in racing for so long, you’re competitively weighed and having your body stereotyped and critiqued for so many years.

“On a raceday, you can get weighed up to 16 times a day, so you form a pretty unhealthy relationship with the scales. After retirement, my body changed again because I wasn’t riding, and it took me a long time to be confident in myself.

She added: “I was always curvy, even as a rider, and I actually copped a little bit of s*** as a rider for being curvy. When I retired and put on more weight, I would just have random people walk up to me and tell me how fat I’d gotten.

“They feel like they’ve got extra licence to do that as a rider because our body weight is our category. It’s what we’re known as.”

Libby told the publication that she’s received a largely positive reaction since joining the content sharing platform.

“The reaction has been very positive, which is completely not what I was expecting,” she said. “I thought it might ruffle a few feathers but everybody knows me now so it has all been pretty positive.

“The people who know me quite well aren’t totally surprised anyway, so it’s been pretty good. It’s been pretty interesting, yeah!” She laughed.
