Popular The Bachelor Australia star Florence Moerenhout was rushed to hospital after she believes her drink was spiked on a night out at a Melbourne bar.

Florence took to her Instagram stories to warn her followers about what she believes is an ongoing “issue in Melbourne at the moment”.

“Last night I went out for a couple drinks and I only had three drinks with some friends and at about 10.30pm, I felt super unwell,” she explained on Instagram.

She told her followers that she headed home but knew something wasn’t right. “I got home and I got sicker and sicker, I kept falling and tripping over, I couldn’t stand or sit, I was spinning,” she said.

Florence said that after her sickness escalated she suspected her drink was spiked and went straight to the emergency room. “I spent the entire night in the hospital.”

The reality star said that she suspects her drink was spiked with Rohypnol, which is considered a date rape drug.

She added, “I don’t think it was GHB [that my drink was spiked with] because I didn’t have most of these things,” she said referring to a screenshot of symptoms that are associated with the drug GHB, which is commonly used as a date rape drug and includes hallucinations, and drowsiness.

While Florence didn’t mention what venue she was at, she did conclude with a message aimed toward the person she suspects spiked her drink.

“[To whoever did this to us] I hope God will push your hairline back so far that no woman ever, ever wants to look at you again,’ she said.

Florence appeared on Matty J’s season of The Bachelor back in 2017 and went on to star on two seasons of Australia’s Bachelor in Paradise. She is expected to appear on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise America which airs on September 27th, 2022.
