Potts Point Hotel is bringing Thursday night Bingo back with a twist

Bingo! Crikey! Yabba-Dabba-Doo! Here! Righto! are the usual calls of Bingo winners, and now with some help from Potts Point Hotel, you can live out your full Thursday night bingo fantasy, with a special twist.

Thursday night Bingo is a staple across this sun-soaked country, and with good reason. There’s nothing quite like getting out your coloured bingo stamps, bringing along your lucky stuffed toy or medallion, and witnessing Carol from down the road play 5 cards at once while you struggle to focus on your single full card.

Introducing Gender Bender Bingo, the Bingo with balls, which has been described as “Hilarious, raucous and totally naughty.” When exactly is this late-night lucky affair? Well, I’m glad you asked. Every Thursday from 8:30 pm, Potts Point Hotel will be dimming the lights, firing up the smoke machine and putting the balls in place for you to have a wild night, and perhaps win a prize or two.

Leading the event will be a cast of drag queens considered to be Sydney’s greatest and gaudiest, including the incredible Penny Tration, icon of the Sydney drag scene.

When Penny walks into a room the atmosphere instantly changes, she commands attention. The fact that she is at least seven foot with ‘heels, hair and attitude’ (a quote given to Penny by Supermodel RuPaul when they worked together) is just the beginning. Penny has an infectious sense of humour and puts you at ease knowing that you are in the capable hands of a professional entertainer and show woman.
