Winter is hard. It’s cold, it’s windy, it’s wet, and it’s extremely difficult to get out of bed in the morning.

Lucky for us, winter has one redeeming quality: snow.

In the last week, Thredbo has seen up to 25cm of snow, meaning winter is well and truly upon us. Thredbo will be kicking off its winter season over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, and it’s going to be a packed schedule.

There’ll be hot pool parties, fireworks, deliciously warm food, and of course the free outdoor concert, this year featuring The Preatures, Red Wine Roses and Crooked Colours. They’ll have you dancing away the frostbite and force you to have slightly warmer feelings towards winter.

Beat the winter blues this Queen’s Birthday long weekend at Thredbo. Events and activities will be taking place all weekend, Saturday June 6 – Monday June 8.
