PlayStation has revealed five new PS5 console covers that will let you easily change the colour of your new video game system.
Ever since the PS5 was first unveiled fans have been mocking up designs of the system sporting different coloured console covers. For over a year Sony has been strangely silent on the whole matter, but hold onto your butts gamers, because soon the colours of the galaxy will be yours.
Yes, come January 2022 the gaming giant has revealed you’ll be able to purchase console covers in the following five colours:
– Midnight Black
– Cosmic Red
– Nova Pink
– Starlight Blue

We’re not entirely sure why PlayStation is so particularly obsessed with the whole galaxy angle, but they will certainly help your PS5 pop with a fair bit of extra colour. We’re also guessing that Midnight Black will be especially popular with fans, helping the machine blend more effectively into some people’s entertainment units.
That’s not all though – with new DualSense controllers also set to release alongside the console covers. The new line-up will follow the same colour palate meaning you can mix or match to your heart’s desire.
Just make sure you’ve got some spare cash handy, because these things won’t come cheap. The DualSense controllers will set you back $119.95 a pop, while the PS5 console covers will retail for $84.95. Ouch.
If you are keen, the vague January launch date is as concrete as you’re going to get for the moment, claiming exact timings for the accessories will vary by location. Best keep your eye on your local retailers or online stores.
