Big Brother two-time winner Reggie Sorensen has said that her most recent reality tv win wasn’t as exciting as her first back in 2003.

“It has been weird this time, very different to the last time I won,” she told Herald Sun of being crowned the first two-time winner of Big Brother.

She added, “Reality TV was absolutely massive back in the day and it was all new back then and we didn’t have social (media) and stuff. This time, I wasn’t getting chased down by the street like I was back in 2003.”

Reggie said that there was so much hype surrounding her first win, that she had to hire security for the weeks following her win.

“I had two bodyguards with me for a few weeks because I could not walk anywhere,” she said.

“These days, I can still jump on the bus to do my groceries without a worry in the world. People are so quick to move on.”

Reggie made history when she was crowned champ back in July, as the first housemate in the world to win Big Brother twice. Throughout the season Reggie spoke of her struggle to financially provide for her children.

“I’ve had a lot of health issues over the years,” she told Daily Mail of how the $250,000 prize money will help her.

“It’s hard to try and look for a full time job when you got a sick child as well, and being separated.”

“I’d love to get a job now. I definitely need to get a job to help pay the rent. I don’t know what I’m going to do, but I’ll find something.”

“It’s been a struggle [finding a full time job]. I was previously working in a call centre selling raffle tickets for the prize pony, they were really good when I needed to take time off,” she said.

‘It’s also hard to try and find employers who will accept you for who you are, and take on. You know, just being there, and having a sick child and taking time off work.”
