Forefathers of the experimental and avant-garde The Residents are returning Down Under for the first time in a decade, and with them bring their new show Shadowland.
Shadowland is the final instalment of a trilogy and will showcase new music alongside older tracks, all acompanied by short videos about birth, rebirth, reincarnation and NDEs (near death experiences).
For over 40 years the trio have remained enigmas, hiding behind masks and incognito press appearances. This time around, they’ve decided to go by names ‘Randy’, ‘Chuck’ and ‘Bob’.
Alongisde an appearance at Bluesfest, The Residents play The Factory Theatre on Thursday March 24.
