As lead singer of the African-American folkinterpreters Caroline Chocate Drops, she’s stepped out on her own to produce a debut solo LP Tomorrow Is My Turn.
Recorded in LA and Nashville with a multi-generational group of players, it blends gospel, jazz and folk to present “all facets of the human conditions,” says Giddens.
