The Book of Boba Fett finale left many fans disappointed and many of them took to Twitter, so we collected some of their best reactions.
It goes without saying that spoilers for The Book of Boba Fett Episode 7 will be coming ahead, as this article features fans’ reactions to the episode. The Jon Favreau created and written show aired its final episode yesterday, February 9th, which was directed by Robert Rodriguez. Many fans were quick to point out their criticisms of the show’s finale, and while many pointed towards Robert Rodriguez’s directing, some pointed out that Jon Favreau wrote every episode.
One Twitter user points out that every episode directed by Robert Rodriguez didn’t quite stick the landing and could’ve used better direction.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that every episode of Boba Fett directed by Robert Rodriguez landed with a big thud.

Another fan points out that while fans were disappointed with Rodriguez’s direction, Jon Favreau’s writing should still be taken into consideration when considering the quality of each episode. This is no exception for the finale, which was also written by Favreau.
everyone is blaming robert rodriguez for the story when jon’s been the one writing every episode hmmm 🤔

This Book of Boba Fett fan criticizes what is already a particularly infamous scene among fans, as a plethora of Tweets can be found gaffing on the odd choice to spin mid-gun fight. While spinning has never made sense as far as real-life combat experts are concerned, the move has been adopted throughout cinema to varying degrees of success. This time it was not well received by viewers of the Boba Fett finale.

This Tweet did a great job of summing up some of the highs and lows of the show, which many fans appeared to agree with on Twitter. The highs were loved and the lows were panned by fans. This fan seems to be on the side of disapproval when it comes to Rodriguez’s directing style.
Star Wars is evolving in its storytelling and I want it to continue. There were some clunky moments this season, but overall, I’m so happy to see the galaxy growing. I think this show really helped push the evolution and I loved it, but maybe no more Robert Rodriguez episodes? 😂 pic.twitter.com/8KHWiMJfMO

Twitter user AustinA2Q seemed to enjoy Episode 5 of The Book of Boba Fett which was directed by Bryce Dallas Howard, a director who has improved with every episode of Star Wars content she’s gotten her hands on, and believes she deserves more creative responsibility in the form of her own series. At the same time, they didn’t enjoy Rodriguez’s directing in the Star Wars medium and seemed to think it would be best if they took a step back.
My main take away from the Book of Boba Fett finale is that Robert Rodriguez is a terrible director and that Bryce Dallas Howard should get her own series
