Prominent experimental music label Room40 is curating a program of sound and media to celebrate 15 years of cutting edge music making.

Open Frame will take place in the dynamic multi-arts space of Carriageworks. It will feature a lineup of some of Room40’s best artists including Jim O’Rourke, Makino Takashi, Chris Abrahams, Louise Curham, William Basinski, Grouper, Paul Clipson, Lawrence English, Austin Buckett and Robbie Avenaim.

In an Australian premiere, Japanese filmmaker and experimental sound artist Makino Takashi will be deliveringSpace Noise, an installation which combines film, digital projection and intense sonics to overwhelm the senses.

Join Room40 in its celebrations on Thursday July 30 and Friday July 31 at Carriageworks.
