Royal Headache have won big at this year’s FBi SMAC Awards. As they flippin’ should.

Royal Headache walked away as one of the true winners of the FBi SMAC (Sydney Music, Arts and Culture) Awards, taking home gongs for Record of the Year, and Best Live Act at the Carriageworks awards ceremony last night.

Any of those who saw the band’s infamous Sydney Opera House show, feat. the NSW Police Force, will undoubtedly agree with the latter award, andHighhas enough devoted fans to make the former trophy a strong decision too.

Other winners include Sampa The Great for Next Big Thing, Shining Bird with ‘Rivermouth’ for Best Song and House of Mince for Best Music Event. Kudos all round.

A full list of winners is available on the FBi Radio website, here.
