When English comedy sensation Russell Howard announced that he would be returning to Australian soil, we knew it would be a big deal.

Now, our suspicions have been confirmed as his triumphant visit has been extended to feature new shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Following the enormous success of his Netflix special Recalibrate, The Russell Howard Hour, Russell is headed Down Under next year for his largest world tour to date, Respite.

Fresh off the back of a UK arena tour, Howard will be hitting up venues in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in July of next year. It will be his first Australian appearance since 2017.

It’s any wonder his first announced dates have been met with an overwhelming demand, Russell broke a record in China on his 2017 sell-out international tour, Round the World. He also beat Frank Sinatra and Barry Manilow’s record for most consecutive sold-out nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall, with 10 sold out shows.

On top of that, he has a social media following of over 3.4 million Facebook fans around the world, with more followers than any other British comedian.
