Russell Peters has announced that his huge world tour will hit Australia early next year.

The ‘Act Your Age’ World Tour will take in four arena dates across the country in March 2023. Before that, he’ll head to Auckland, New Zealand for a quick stop on March 4th (see full dates below). Tickets go on sale on Monday, July 4th at 9am local time via bohmpresents.com.

Peters sounds excited about the prospect of returning to Australia. “Crikey! I’ll be back down under in March, 2023… Hide the Tim Tams!!!!” he comically wrote on social media while confirming the tour dates.

After starting his stand-up career in his native Toronto at the age of 19, Peters has spent almost two decades honing his comedy craft. That resulted in him recently being named as one of Rolling Stone‘s 50 Best Comics of All Time.

His previous tours have broken attendance records at iconic venues like Madison Square Garden and The Sydney Opera House, while in 2013 he became the first comedian to create a Netflix Original Comedy Special.

He just launched his own podcast, Culturally Cancelled with Russell Peters, and is also developing a TV series based on his Canadian childhood in the 1980s.

Peters spent the past year building his new act in clubs across the U.S., returning for his world tour sharper than ever. “I was supposed to start this tour in 2020, but then, I’m not sure if you guys heard, but something happened…,” as he says.
