Sacha Baron Cohen has taken back his ‘job offer’ for Donald Trump in the wake of the presidential election results.

Following Trump’s defeat against Joe Biden, Sacha Baron Cohen took to Twitter to rescind his, ah, totally serious offer of employment.

“Donald—you’re out of work and I know I offered you a job,” he began.

“But your performance this past week was tragic and sad… offer rescinded,” he said.

ICYMI, Sacha Baron Cohen tweeted Trump about the not-so lucrative opportunity late last month.

“Donald—I appreciate the free publicity for Borat! I admit I don’t find you funny either. But yet the whole world laughs at you,” he said.

“I’m always looking for people to play racist buffoons, and you’ll need a job after Jan. 20. Let’s talk!”

The tweet was in response to a Hollywood Life article which republished tweets made by political journalist Steve Herman.

Herman revealed that when asked about Borat 2, Trump told reporters that Baron Cohen was  “phony guy” and a “creep.”

“Years ago, you know, [Baron Cohen] tried to scam me and I was the only one who said no way, that’s a phony guy and I don’t find him funny,” he allegedly said.

“To me, he’s a creep,” he concluded.

It appears Trump was referencing an incident in the early 2000s when Baron Cohen attempted to get Trump to invest in a product created by his Ali G alter-ego.

It’s safe to say there is no love lost between the pair, which comes as no surprise given the recent controversy surrounding Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani.

Giuliani came under fire after his appearance in Borat 2, which featured a scene where he appeared to be attempting to ‘seduce’ Borat’s “underage” daughter.

In a final, more cryptic tweet, Baron Cohen appeared to hint at exactly who may be next in his firing line.

“One down, one to go,” he captioned a picture of Trump with Mark Zuckerberg.

Well, we’re going to go ahead and guess that Zuckerberg may or may not need to watch his back.
