“There’s a huge history of people with one hand returning in Star Wars. The only person I’ve ever said that to about coming back was Bryce Dallas Howard,” he said, “I just did a movie with her, and she directs episodes of The Mandalorian. So, I go, ‘So, you think you might be able to hook a brother up? I mean, you like me, right?’ And she’s like ‘I love you, you’re amazing.’ So put me back in, I’m ready. Put me in, coach. I’ll learn lightsaber left-handed.”

The last time we saw Mace Windu, his hand was lopped off before he was thrown out of Palpatine’s chambers down into the depths of the Coruscant underworld. Now, Bryce Dallas Howard teases something may be going on behind the scenes. While her quote Tweeting the interview with eye emojis is nowhere near being concrete information it is definitely a sign to reinvigorate hope for the character’s return.
Bryce Dallas Howard is well past the point of dabbling her toes into Star Wars and has now taken on multiple episodes of two different Star Wars properties in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
