When Samuel L. Jackson speaks, the world should choose to listen. The actor had some choice words for American’s who still aren’t practising social distancing measures: “stay the fuck at home.”

Jackson appeared on Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live as a guest from his home theatre. After taking part in an interview, Jackson took a moment to spread the good gospel of self-isolation.

You may recall a few years back, Jackson and author Adam Mansbach collaborated on an audiobook poem, Go the Fuck to Sleep. Well the pair rekindled their creative partnership for a bedtime story in the age of COVID-19, Stay the Fuck at Home.

Clad in a purple ensemble reflecting the fire fit the cartoon iteration of himself dons, “Stay the fuck at home. Corona is spreading, this shit is no joke,” Jackson read.

“It’s no time to work or roam. The way you can fight it is simple my friends, stay the fuck at home. Now technically I’m not a doctor.

“But motherfuckers listen when I read a poem. So here I am, Sam Fucking Jackson, imploring you: Keep your ass at home. If you want things to get back to normal, don’t panic. Just use your dome. Wash your hands, stop touching your face and stay the fuck at home.”

If anyone dares break self-isolation now, they’ll have Mr. Jackson to answer to.
