Whilst many people embark on spiritual journey’s to Jerusalem I find that that the realm of Scottish Twitter is where true enlightenment awaits. There is no subculture on this planet that thinks about things through such a unique lens as Scots on Twitter.
Scottish Twitter recently sent the internet into a tizzy after one man with a passion for the humble combination of beans on toast shared a screenshot conversation with a girl who had given the dish a most glorious nickname. The nickname that has caused such an uproar? 1,000 men on a raft.

Naturally, such a brave nickname for the staple roused an impassioned response from the internet. “That’s disgusting I am FUMING,” @joesmithh99 proclaimed.
“Wow we really do live in a society,” mused @archieropes.
Whilst others have informed us that the common nickname is “skinheads on the raft.” Which, in the current political environment, is not something that I would confidently order at a greasy spoon, but there you have it.
