Congratulations are in order for Heather Rae Young and her husband Tarek El Moussa who have announced that they are pregnant with their first child.

The Selling Sunset star revealed the exciting news via an Instagram post. “Surprise!!! Baby El Moussa coming early 2023!! 🤍 [sic]” she wrote alongside a series of photos showing her baby bump in a white dress with El Moussa and his kids.

Heather has been very open about her desire to get pregnant and has publicly posted about her IVF journey. However, the reality TV star conceived naturally with El Moussa.

“It was a huge shock. We just weren’t expecting this,” Heather told American magazine People. “We had just gone through IVF, we had embryos on ice, we had a plan.”

“I think when you least expect it, and there’s no stress in your life, the world just brought us what was meant to be. I’m so excited that it happened like this.”

Young and El Moussa started dating three years ago, and Heather became a mother figure to her partner’s kids from a previous relationship; Taylor, 11 and Brayden, six.

“I really love being a bonus mum to Taylor and Brayden,” she told the publication. “But as your love grows more and more and you fall deeper in love with someone and you build this life together, I started picturing myself having a child with Tarek.”

Selling Sunset has been confirmed for seasons six and seven by Netflix. However, fan favourite Maya has confirmed that she won’t be returning for the impending seasons.

Fans of the show will know that Maya has moved to Miami with her family, and pops back to LA periodically to film the show and work for The Oppenheim Group.

TMZ has reported that their sources say Maya will be permanently based in Miami and “will not return to the Netflix reality series because she’s focused on raising her family and continuing to build her real estate business in Miami.”
