As well as an appearance at Meredith Music Festival in Victoria, Shellac have announced they will tour the country on a string of headline shows this December.
On their third visit here, the trio will play shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
After forming in 1993, their first out of town shows included Australia later that year. Since then they have released five albums and a handful of 7″ singles, fitting day jobs around the band, which they keep as a pastime.
Shellac will take over Metro Theatre on Tuesday December 8. Tickets go on sale Friday August 21 through Ticketek.
