If you’re into sneakers, sorting out your kids with sweet kicks is fun.

It might seem extravagant to spend $60 to $90 on some Air Force 1s they might outgrow within four months, but we’ve had a great experience with a pair of Jordan 3s for our three-year-old.

While a bit more expensive than other options, they’re well constructed and durable with good support for his feet. At an age when he’s becoming more active and taking greater risks at the playground, it was nice to have his feet well protected. Plus there’s the novelty of enjoying tiny basketball shoes.

There’s a whole range of shoe companies who specialise in kids shoes, like Clarks, New Balance and Bisgaard. They include those leather strappy kind of sandles and boots.

But if you’re keen for your toddler to have sneakerhead kicks, here’s a few pics for inspiration.
