1. Your Profile
We’re a four-piece alternative rock band looking for love, maybe more… inspired by QOTSA, Arctic Monkeys, Black Sabbath and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. We love to ponder existential questions in an unreasonably short time period, normally over a few pints. We’re looking for fans with deep pockets who can support a mediocre Western Sydney band with high aspirations.

2. Keeping Busy
Mostly planning and promoting our upcoming east coast tour, pulling some merch together to slap on some bodies and we’re constantly writing new material. Our EP is out May 3, it’s called E.G.O. – we are stoked for everyone to hear it. Launch party is May 3 at Frankie’s – get on it!

3. Best Gig Ever
I’m torn between two. We did a show at The Townie on the 25th of March and that went off tits. Barnsey had just finished playing at The Enmore I believe so we were getting the roaming crowd in, which lead to a kick-arse set. Second would be the hour-and-a-half set we managed to pull off at The Stag and Hunter Hotel in Newcastle. Great venue, nice staff, good vibes and the locals were so welcoming. It’s a great place. Hmm… I don’t recall having a ‘worst’ gig but the most unpleasant was driving from Newy to Marrickville on three hours’ sleep to play Marrickville Fest; we all felt pretty shit.

4. Your Ultimate Rider
What wouldn’t we have on the rider would be a better question! Riders at the moment usually consist of either nothing or beer, so nothing too extravagant at the moment. However, I am positive if ever given the choice, we would all be finicky with it [laughs].

The Fossicks launch E.G.O. at Frankie’s Pizza on Wednesday May 3.
