Splendour In The Grass has been hit with a last-minute cancellation before the festival takes place this weekend.

The UK’sCatfish and the Bottlemen have taken toFacebookthis morning to announce they will no longer be heading to Australia:

“It is with huge regret that, due to illness in the band and crew, Catfish and the Bottlemen will not be playing their planned shows this week in Australia and Japan; including Splendour in the Grass and Fuji Rocks festivals. The band are obviously absolutely devastated not to be making the trip and hope fans will understand.”

But all is not lost – confirmed today as their replacements at Splendour are the much-loved Oz rock duo and festival favourites DZ Deathrays.

Ticketholders for the cancelled shows are encouraged to contact their point of purchase. Otherwise, you can catch DZ Deathrays at Splendour In The Grass on Friday July 24, more info through here.
