The Star is celebrating Chinese New Year (and the start of the Year of the Sheep) with a series of Asian menus, celebrations and cultural entertainment.

Running throughout February, The Star has partnered with City of Sydney’s Chinese New Year celebrations. All over the city, Sydneysiders can enjoy lunar markets, Lunar Streets, the Chinese New Year Twilight Parade and dragon boat racing.

Over at The Star, Lunar Feats at Balla is hosting a three-course meal featuring pork dumplings, sauteed sweet and sour Yamba prawns and deep-fried ice cream. Meanwhile, BLACK by ezard is featuring a steamed coral trout with Asian greens, scallop, bonito soy broth and crispy wonton.

Entertainment is also available, with Jeff Chang performing at the Sydney Lyric Theatre. Known as the “Prince of Love Ballads” in the Asian pop world, Chang has been releasing popular albums since 1989.
