In sad news for anyone who likes a little extra cream with their coffee, Starbucks have announced they will block porn viewing on their free wi-fi starting next year. The change comes amid mounting pressure from internet safety groups in the USA.

A Starbucks spokesperson told NBCNews “We have identified a solution to prevent this content from being viewed within our stores and we will begin introducing it to our US locations in 2019,” They also said that viewing pornography on their free wi-fi had always been against their policy, but this is the first time they have been able to police it.

The news comes after a petition started by internet safety group Enough Is Enough started a petition which gained over 26,000 signatures. A statement from their CEO Donna Rice Hughes says that in 2016 Starbucks were “in active discussions with organizations on implementing the right, broad-based solution that would remove any illegal and other egregious content,” but never acted.

So far it isn’t confirmed that the changes will be made in stores outside of the USA but it’s looking likely that eventually Australian customers will be unable to cum and go as they please. Whilst this may be sad news for some, we are confident that plenty of people are supportive of the decision.

Earlier this year Starbucks also committed to banning all plastic straws in their stores by 2020. So if you like a fap with your cap and hate paper straws, you need to find a new coffee shop. Whilst you’re here, why not watch an educational video on why the coffee shop chain failed in Australia? YOLO!
