Love Island OG Stella Hutcheon was dumped from the villa last night with her partner Hugh Wilcox.

Though the two had only been partnered together for a short amount of time, they seemed to hit it off but, according to Stella, the relationship didn’t translate to the outside world.

“Hugh and I, we kind of decided when we left the Villa – just because we live in different states – that we would kind of remain single, and then when we see each other we would catch up,” she said. Stella told 9Now!. She is from Melbourne while Hugh is from Brisbane.

The former Islander told the publication that despite not being romantically involved with Hugh, the two are on good terms.

“I have gone down to Melbourne because I was visiting family and I went and saw him, and it was really nice. It was just a great catch-up.” she said.

She added, “We’re just kind of remaining single because we didn’t get to form such a strong connection in the Villa.”

Stella said that her and Hugh realised who different they were when they left the villa. “I think that maybe we’re kind of a little bit different… yeah, different people once we had left the Villa.”

“I think I’ll definitely be seeing him in future at events, or when I fly down to Melbourne I’ll go and see him. He is a nice guy, but I’m just kind of playing it by ear, I guess.”

Hugh agreed with Stella, saying; “We obviously don’t live in the same state, but we’ve hung out a few times and it’s been fun.”

“I’m still very much single, and I’m sure we’ll hang out in future. We’ll see what happens, for sure,” he added.

“Obviously it’s hard her not being in Victoria, but we’ve definitely hung out a few times.”
