Surry Hills Festival, this year following the theme ‘An Event Of Stories, Love & Tales’, has revealed its first music and entertainment lineup.

The famous inner city suburb of Sydney will host a day of celebrations next month, led by a music lineup that includes dream-poppers Noire and singer-songwriter Leah Flanagan. The Stiffys and Sons Of The East are sure to bring the rock, while bluegrass group The Pigs round things out.

Artists are also being invited to enter the Surry Song Competition, celebrating both songwriting talent and the suburb itself.

Elsewhere, the Surry Hills Creative Trail will return, inviting visitors to tour the neighbourhood with some creative talents, while the traditional speakers’ corner will be curated by Performance Space for Soapbox.

Surry Hills Festival 2015 takes over the suburb on Saturday September 26.
