TEDxSydney on Saturday April 26 just got a whole lot more interesting with the release of the companion app today.

The app uses real-time video tagging to give TED enthusiasts the chance to capture inspirational moments from the event, add personal notes and share the moments via social media.

The app not only enhances the live experience for attendees at the Sydney Opera House, but also for the thousands of worldwide onlineviewers. TEDxSydney is all about spreading brilliant ideas and the app does so perfectly. It also allows you to stay up to date with the program schedule, highlight must-see speakers, and connect with other viewers.

It is now available for free download on iPhone and Android.
