Noni Janur of The Bachelor responded to someone body shaming her on Instagram after giving birth only a few months ago.

The Bachelor Australia 2016’s Noni Janur has called out another mother for body-shaming her for her post-partum body. Noni, who welcomed her daughter Indah with her partner Sam Livingston in August 2022, shared a screenshot of a comment left by a follower on one of her photos.

The comment read, “Haha I remember seeing you at Star Cosmetics you had the sexiest body and legs what happened? I feel so bad hit the gym girl.”

Noni was taken aback by the comment and shared it on her Instagram Story, captioning it with, “Well that’s a nice way to wake up. It’s the mum shaming from a mum for me girl.”

A few hours later, Noni took to her Instagram Story again to thank her followers for their support after the harsh comment.

Noni said that she normally wouldn’t engage with such comments, but this one shocked her because it came from another mother.

“I normally wouldn’t post it on social media but I just had enough,” she said. Noni also noted that she knows what people go through post-partum and that these comments can be hurtful, especially when people are trying to figure out their journey of post-partum and love their bodies again.

Noni also revealed that she has had to take a break from social media in the past due to online trolls and negativity. “Just the negativity’s sometimes not where I want to be and I don’t want to surround myself and my mind into that negative space,” she said. “I want to be more active on social media and just for the pure fact to be supportive of other women.”

In conclusion, Noni called for people to cut out the negativity and body-shaming, saying, “I will try to be [supportive], but people need to cut this sh*t out, to be honest.”
