“Congratulations you two beautiful humans! We love love!! @carlinsterritt,” former The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise star Renee Barrett wrote.

“Congratulations beautiful people,” ex Big Brother housemate Hannah Campbell commented.

Carlin received Angie Kent’s final rose on The Bachelorette season five. The couple dated for about ten months after the show before calling it quits.

“Chemistry doesn’t always equal compatibility. We gave it our all and it didn’t work out,” Angie explained to Sydney Confidential of the break up.

“Our values didn’t align. Both Carlin and I will never give personal details. Out of respect for Carlin, I will not reveal the personal workings of our relationship,” she added.

“That’s all I will say. I wish him nothing but the best for the future.”

Although Carlin and Angie were spotted looking for engagement rings shortly before they announced their breakup, fans suspected the split after the former Bachelorette said she never wanted to get married.

“I’m not big on marriage, but if he wanted to I probably would,’ Angie responded when asked whether wedding bells were on the horizon, adding: ‘I never wanted to get married.”

“I’m not the sort of person that’s like, planned her wedding. I’ve planned my funeral but I haven’t planned my wedding.”
