Bachelor in Paradise star Tara Pavlovic-Sheperdson has claimed that The Bachelors winner Jess reportedly went “running back” to her ex-boyfriend Damien straight after filming of the show wrapped.

Tara, who came third in Matty J’s season of The Bachelor, was sharing her thoughts on the finale and told her Instagram followers that she believed Felix didn’t want to pick anyone.

“I feel like Felix didn’t want to choose anyone,” she said. “So he chose Jess because he can just leave because that was just a twisted situation.”

Shortly after, Tara shared a reply for a follower who claimed to live in the same city as Jess and said Felix ghosted her straight after filming wrapped.

“I’m from Townsville and a friend knows Jess and Damien. Apparently, Felix ghosted her and she went running back to Damien straight away,” the response read that Tara shared.

The relationship between Jess and Felix was one of the main storylines on The Bachelors, as Jess has a boyfriend (Damien) who she was in a polyamorous relationship with, and he appeared on the show a lot. While Jess did break up with Damien on the show’s finale, it appears that the split didn’t last wrong.

Regardless, both Jess and Felix shared a fairly contrive statement about their break up with 10 Play this morning.

“I’ve been in a long-distance relationship in the past and it’s incredibly strenuous because if you feel strongly about someone, you want them to always be around you. With us, we didn’t know when the show was going to air or what was going to happen,” Felix said.

“We’re still on great terms, we’re still incredibly close and we’ve chatted throughout the process… we’re on great terms.”

Jess added that long distance made it difficult to “kick off a relationship”.

“As someone who really values communication and who loves a good D&M, I felt like Felix and I had very different perspectives on what that would look like, and we just kind of lacked that communication,” she said.

“I still care for him as a person and I think he was a massive part of my life, I would never want to discredit that, but from the get-go, I knew he wasn’t going to be my life partner and he deserves someone who is completely all the way in and not half in.”
