The Bachelors contestant Tilly has blamed editing for sexualising her relationship with one of the show’s leads Felix.

Tilly was in Felix’s group of women on the show and was a front-runner from episode one. Her relationship with The Bachelor lead quickly grew physical, and the other women suspected that she had gotten intimate with him on their separate date together which aired last week.

However, this week saw Felix questioning whether their relationship had any emotional depth, and he sent her home on last night’s episode.

Despite Felix’s musings, Tilly told Yahoo Lifestyle that they did have a lot of deep conversations that weren’t televised.

“There were a lot of conversations Felix and I had throughout the whole season that the audience missed,” she shares.

“They definitely sexualised our relationship a lot, which no doubt it was very steamy and saucy, but we did have a lot of incredible, fun-filled chats and were able to delve deeper into our past relationships.”

Tilly added that she understands producers prefer to air “steamy and saucy kisses” rather than “deep and meaningful conversations”.

Looking back on the time they shared together, the reality star said she holds no hard feelings towards Felix.

“We had an incredible time together and we did really care and like each other, and unfortunately it just wasn’t meant to be,” she said. “He was looking for another type of connection.”

She added that she don’t think editing manipulated her personality, and she’s proud of herself for having the confidence to be herself on the show.

“There’s not one thing I did or said that wasn’t me to a tee,” she remarks. “I’m a big kid, and Felix and I are crazy similar in that respect, like a male, female version of each other.

“So you’ve got me having fun, you’ve got me being very sexual and intimate, me sweating bullets because I am an anxious person as well. You saw all sides of me and you saw me being vulnerable and upset because I did care and like the guy.”

“I back myself and my actions completely,” she continues. “Yes I could have potentially been a bit more aware of the other girls at times, but Felix was definitely reciprocating all of the physical touch. It was all very mutual, and he sort of set that tone from day dot.”
