The entire cast list for the upcoming season of Australian Survivor, titled Heroes v Villains, has leaked and it features some very recognizable faces. 

According to gossip publication So Dramatic!, Jordie Hansen and Nina Twine from this year’s season of Survivor, 2019’s Shaun Hampson and 2021 runner up Kristie Bennett will all be returning to the jungle to compete for the title of sole Survivor.

They will be joined by George Mladeno, Shonee Fairfax  Flick Palmateer, Hayley Leake, Jackie Glazier, Steve Khouw, Sam Web and Simon Mee.

“Simon Mee is back on the show,” a source said. “They originally cut him, but he’s back, so something changed there.”

And, it won’t just be Survivor alum competing on the reality TV show. The same publication reports that AFL player David Zaharakis and Real Housewives of Melbourne star Anjali Rao will both be joining the cast.

Alongside the familiar faces will reportedly be former Miss Australia pageant queen Sarah Marschke, Olympic pole vaulter Liz Parnova, author Benjamin Law, estate agent Fraser Lack, Gerry Geltch. and actress Sharni Vinson. A woman named Paige Donald and a man named Matty Sharp round out the cast.

It was reported that 2016 winner Kristie Bennett would be returning for the upcoming season of Survivor, however, she’s since dropped out.

“Kristy has told people that she isn’t playing,” a source told So Dramatic!. “She told people that it was because of an injury, which may be true, but also, she may have just been cut.”

Australian Survivor will air in January and is returning to Samoa for the first time since 2017. A recently released trailer for Australian Survivor Heroes vs Villains shows a birds-eye view of a beautiful beach in Samoa before Host Jonathan LaPaglia’s voice rings out asking: “In the game of Survivor, who does it better – A hero and a villain?”
