Lisa Huffman (formerly Origliasso), one half of iconic QLD duo The Veronicas, took to Instagram today to call out a harasser that sent her a dildo with “eat a dick” emblazoned on the box.

After being live for around 40 minutes the post was then deleted.

In the post, Huffman detailed how the phallic object showed up on her doorstep just days after she and husband, actor Logan Robert Huffman, got hitched back in November.

“I am choosing to speak out publicly because I want other people going through anything like this to know they are not alone. Harassment, intimidation, bullying and abuse is not okay,” Huffman said.

She went on to say that the abuse and harassment have been a constant for over two years and alleges that she’s also received abusive texts, emails and has had her social media accounts hacked multiple times.

“It’s hard to fathom this type of harmful & obsessive behaviour…I won’t be compliant in silence anymore. The person knows time is up. They have taken protection in their celebrity and social position for long enough,” Huffman said.

Huffman explains in the post that a year ago she addressed the alleged harasser with legal written notice to cease. She claims caused the harassment to be relegated to a private platform.

“My sister, my mum’s health, my career and my relationship deserve protection now. I will not stand by while people protect and placate an abuser’s public reputation at the expense of mine and my families safety and peace.”

She went on to encourage others that are experiencing similar problems to speak out and ask for help.

Despite the post being taken down, Twitter user @lisrobins managed to take some screenshots before it was deleted.
