Now, I don’t know about you, but when I see that a group who named themselves ‘The Bait Shop’, after the venue from The OC (the one where it’s never too crowded and the bands play quiet enough to talk over) are throwing a ‘So Fresh’ themed Halloween party, where that will pump non-stop 2000 pop classics from the beloved compilation series, then I implicitly trust that it will be great.

It’s happening at Hudson Ballroom (in my day we called it the Goodgod Small Club) from 9pm this Saturday – and if you want an alphabetised list of what to expect, here you go: Ashanti, Backstreet Boys, Black Eyed Peas, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Destiny’s Child, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Outkast, Usher, Vengaboys.

The best 2000s Halloween costume on the night wins a $50 bar tab (obviously you should go as Nelly), and you can grab tickets here.
