12 years agoThirsty Mercemerged on the Australian music scene with their first independent EP. They’ve since followed up with three hugely acclaimed studio albums and a stack of radio hits, including20 Good Reasons, Someday Someday, Mousetrap HeartandIn The Summertime.

Thirsty Mercare still at it and they’re gearing up to release their fourth studio album,Shifting Gears.Only this time, they’re doing itwithout the help of a major label.

After a chunk of songwriting in Sydney, Melbourne, and Los Angeles, the band utilised crowdfunding platformPledgeMusicto support their efforts in the studio. The fan response was overwhelming, allowing the band to reach their goal within 48 hours.

The first single from the album,The Good Life, goes toradio this Friday July 31 and to celebratethe band have announced a new national tour for September and October.
